He was working with Hollywood movie stars and legendary rock musicians, but it wasn't long before he found his way into the dark underbelly of the City of Angels. When he hit rock bottom-addicted to heroin and cocaine, overtaken by paranoia and psychosis, written off by his friends and family - he grabbed a shovel and kept digging. So how does someone with nothing, who feels like they deserve nothing, and who just wants to end it all turn their life around?

How many self-help books are written by authors whose biggest success is selling self-help books? Three Simple Steps is different. Despite stock market crashes, dot-com busts, and the specter of recession, the author started a virtual company from home, using a few thousand dollars of his savings. A few years later, without ever hiring an employee or leaving his home office, he sold it for more than $100 million. As the economy slipped into another free fall, he did this again with a company in a different field. He accomplished this through no particular genius.

Every new project (or job, or hobby, or company) starts out exciting and fun. Then it gets harder and less fun, until it hits a low point: really hard, and not much fun at all. And then you find yourself asking if the goal is even worth the hassle. Maybe you're in a Dip: a temporary setback that you will overcome if you keep pushing. But maybe it's really a Cul-de-Sac, which will never get better, no matter how hard you try.

Description
When we resist the present moment, we close the door to happiness. But when we align with what is, we access the source of lasting peace and contentment. On The Secret of Happiness, Eckhart Tolle invites you to experience how your sense of joy and fulfillment radically changes through the awakening of consciousness and the realization of who you are beyond the content of your thoughts.
Eckhart begins by pointing out the dissatisfaction inherent in the life of "the little me" - or the thought-based sense of self for whom restlessness and anxiety rule the day. Our task, he explains, is to discover our "formless" identity - our essence beyond the personality and the relative concerns of a worldly life. Join Eckhart as he discusses:
- Unconditional friendship with the form this moment takes
- The transformational power of surrender
- Practical ways to bring in "space consciousness" for creativity and balance in the things you do
"The present moment is a portal out of suffering and into something much deeper than any concept of happiness," teaches Eckhart. Here is your opportunity to make this liberating shift, with The Secret of Happiness.

ECKHART’s Best Live Lecture
I’ve listened to just about everything ECKHART Tolle has on Audible. While this particular recording is short in length, don’t take that to mean it is not powerful. In fact, this specific lecture series, in my humble opinion, may be one of his most powerful and transformative recordings to date. The lessons ring with deep truth. Hopes this helps you as much as it did me. Good luck on your path. May all beings be happy :)

Tolle states that the world is starting to awaken to what some would refer to as oneness with God. He says happiness is a term that is too simplistic for the bliss or quiet joy one experiences. It appears this is true.

Transcendant
A beautiful view into the world of stillness within by tranacensing form. Going beyond thought and form to discover transcendance, a place where the external does not determine the internal rather you become an observer of it and you chose how you react. This has been an essential addition to my journey, powerful concepts all leading toward purpose, which transcends our egoic needs and conatructs. It is, therefore observe without form and allow it to be. Bravo.
