Lots of details and you find yourself hoping it all works out. I am waiting to move on to book 4. Hopefully it will be available free or maybe the magic Audiable people will give me credits to puchase the books with.

I’m sure there’s supposed to be a love story or romance somewhere in here but I didn’t see it. Any “love” connection seemed artificial especially when the big declaration of love comes in the second last chapter of the book and up to that declaration there was no relationship. it was like confessing to your crush and hoping you can start dating versus them falling in love over years.
I didn’t like the female lead or the sister’s characters. The female lead character was just confusing and quite annoying. At first, the lead’s almost hating her life and a homebody who has one friend...etc, then with a snap of the fingers she’s a completely different personality where she’s aggressive, has explosive anger and she’s this tough alpha female.
The authors concept of shifters also made no sense to me. This concept that when you shift into your animal you lose all sense of self, literally not remembering anything after you shift, until you shift back and though Pack is family and vise versa, you could attack everyone around you, including pack/loved ones, takes away the magical aspect of being a shifter. What happened to all the enhanced shifter senses? They seem to be lost in this book.
