walking away after more curious than before

Great book. Fantastic narration.

Pleasantly Surprised
This was my first time reading Kurt Vonnegut and I wasn't disappointed. I really enjoyed his writing style. The story is somewhere between Snow Crash and Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. The narrator did a fantastic job, even differentiating between the same characters at different times of their lives. Worth the read.

Amazing
What can you expect from one of the greatest writers of satire and science fiction? Sirens of Titan was interesting, funny, and expressive. I've listened to some of his other novels and it shares ideas and themes from previous stories. Jay Snyder was a great narrator and I highly recommend this book to all.

incredible thought provoking. listened twice
I get in love the language of Kurt Vonnegut: seemingly simple yet incredibly sophisticated. when the book finished, I realized that I needed to listen again in order to get the meaning of all the subtle shades of what he had to say. and I did. and I am glad I did. Oh, and narrator is amazing!

Excellent Story and Narrator

Good narration but story components don't age well
The story wasn't very engaging. Not sure if some of the ridiculousness was intended or if it just comes off that way several decades after it was written. It is almost as though Vonnegut wasn't bold enough in his vision of the future. Tape recorders, physical photos, ridiculous money valuations, to name a few. All made me chuckle, though, from my reading chair in the 21st century.
Easy to listen to, but this author doesn't really register with me. Given his acclaim, I wanted to like this much more than I did.
