I have a really difficult time to follow the story because of constant change of voices from one chapter to another.

I lose some details on that back and forward with the narrations.

about the storyline I was expecting more of the stairs in the forest creepypasta and less the NoEnd House.

many voices on one story

The most terrifying stories are the ones that could be true. Must listen if you enjoy slow, steady builds and believe the world just might have layers.

A slow, excellent build

Story is interesting and engaging.

Female narrator from Lore's POV annoyed me (I think its Xe). The character itself is an annoying one and combined with that not so well done performance - it was hard to keep listening her segments.

Male narrator did a real good job IMHO and the other female narrator (Amber) too.

Ok listen

Such a great book! The narration was top notch and the story got me lost into a world of thoughts, mine or, mostly, the characters’, where I would wonder all along how or if or whether or when. Nightmares of the long past meeting nightmares of the short past meeting a screwed up-ish present. Friendships made and gone, getting lost in the pasts.

Fantastic from start to finish.

Nightmarish? Sure. But also introspective.

Did a mixture of listening to the audio and physically reading. Loved the story. Loved the male narrator and he did a great job creating different voices for the characters. The female narrator tho - she sounded awful when she would try to change her voice. If you can’t actually alter your voice - should just read the story normally. IMO.

Loved the story

This book kind of took me back to my goosebumps days as a novice horror fanatic drinking in the age appropriate gore and horror.
It has an air of fantasy and even though some parts are pretty gruesome and some topics are tough to read about, you’re still left feeling a little dreamy and intrigued. Your desire to find out how it ends far surpasses any anxiety about impending horrors and roadblocks.
The ending left me satisfied but also not. I enjoyed the resolution aspect but I have so many questions regarding the character that held the plot together!
The Narrators did a really great job! It’s difficult to make it enjoyable with so much switching between characters but it was very well done and left no margin for confusion.
Over all great read. A mild horror if you’re looking for something a little spooky and creepy that you can comfortably read at night! Very fun, and that’s coming from an Autistic woman with insane pattern recognition so most books don’t keep me on my toes a whole lot!

Very interesting concept

Honestly i was so excited for this book but i had to struggle to listen to it all. Great concept but execution was brutal.

It was painful to listen too
