À propos de cet audio
Fraser has a secret.
In the sleepy village of Dewdrop Hollow, he's known for being clumsy with fences and hopeless at churning butter. But when the sun goes down, Fraser's true talent awakens. He can read the sky. He knows the prickly, cold scent of a constellation and the fizzy, lemon-tang of a shooting star.
One night, a star doesn't fall down—it falls up, pulling Fraser to the forbidden summit of Whisperwind Peak. There, in a cave glowing with magic, he meets Eldrin: a powerful shaman with eyes made of swirling, living stardust. Fraser is chosen as the first apprentice in a hundred years.
His training is a world of wonder, from finding silky, humming Moon-Flowers to learning the deep, thrumming secrets of silent stones. But magic is dangerous. While trying to mend a "broken" constellation, Fraser's impatience unleashes a terrifying creature of shadow—a Gloom-Weaver that sucks the warmth from the world.
When the shadow escapes and poisons the valley's Silver River, Fraser's mistake threatens to destroy everything he loves.
Joined by Spark, a mischievous spirit-fox made of static and whispers, Fraser must embark on a perilous quest to fix the sky he broke. To heal the river, he must journey to the dazzling Crystal Caves, solve the Riddle of the North Wind, and find a legendary Fallen Star.
But the Gloom-Weaver is growing stronger, and it's hunting the same light. Can a boy who always gets things wrong find the courage to weave the light back, or will his first great act of magic be his last?
