Boring and predictable

The only reason I kept listening is because I was curious about “who dunnit” but the writing of this book was so bad. The constant cliches and nonsense was almost unbearable. It really did make it difficult to finish. This book should be used in school to demonstrate how not to write.

Good suspense thriller

I honestly can’t imagine how anyone could enjoy this book. The writing is just dreadful! I kept slugging through it just to see how it turned out -hence the 2* for the story but winced often at the repetition, forced adjectives, etc. I’m not sure how to rate the performance because it was hard to tell if the way it sounded was really due to the narrator or the awful script! Thank goodness it was one of the free Audible Originals…I would have asked for my money back otherwise!
