I really enjoyed this series. There was always lots of creative action and interesting plot twists. Also multiple complicated romance stories. The womens characters were very strong throughout. The narration was also excellent. I recommend the entire series, lots of hours of entertainment …. at least for me😊 and hopefully others.

Fantastic wrap up of the series

Gripping end to a wonderful series, but with some flaws. The first being that it is too long; it would have been made stronger if the author allowed some more editing. I understand falling in love with your characters and being loathe to say goodbye, but I had to skip past many prolonged Ahnna and James passages. Second, the awkward insistence to add steamy scenes at the most random parts - it was repetitive and unnecessary (and ultimately necessitated more skipping).
Best parts of the book, however, are those pertaining to Keris, Lara, Aren and Zarrah. I think I even enjoyed Keris and Zarrah much more in this installment than their own duology. The political drama is, for the most part, still well-crafted, but just like the rest of the book, very indulgent - I call it the "and another thing..." syndrome. Lastly, sad to say goodbye to my favourite flawed heroine, Lara.

DLJ is the best writer if you want to immerse yourself in adventure, political intrigue and spicy romance. The last chapter of the Twisted Throne series does not disappoint.
