The story gets better with each chapter. I am not sure if the backdrop for this story is more fiction then non but there is an idealism that resonates in 2022. With all of the crap and misinformation we are all exposed to in our daily lives it is so enjoyable to be immersed in a story where mortal enemies, Holy land Christians and Muslims, can break bread and have a dialog based on mutual respect. I enjoyed listening to this book and can recommend it to anyone interested in the Knights Templar and what might have happened during the crusades.
