Three distinct stories, All will leave you wanting more. R.E. McDermott is a fantastic writer that will bring full on suspense, anticipation, fear, worry and excitement. His writing will immerse you directly into the story with no imagination needed as his writing will have you right there. Three great books thwarting terrorists, pirates and traffickers. A series that will literally have you on the edge of your seat wanting more. Great for road trips. The miles will fly by. Highly recommend. Hoping for future additions to the Tom Dugan series.

The pacing of the narrator was terrible.
The bad guys are cliche.
The story is lazy and at times silly.
There is an over use of sexual violence in this story. Every time the bad guys are in the spot light the author writes about sexual threats or displays how evil they are. Ugh lazy book.

Edit. Tried again. And I was right the first time. I’m putting this book down. I don’t care about any of the characters.
