©2012 Emma Locke (P)2016 Emma LockeI enjoyed their love story and the way in which Ashlin proposed was truly romantic and very apropos for the characters. Ashlin’s growth through the story was well depicted. I wish that his sisters had better understood and acknowledged his feelings and why he behaved the way he did.
For me this was an average read as I had difficult connecting with the characters at times and there were parts of the story that I felt slowed it down and were unnecessary.
The narrator was pretty good and I enjoyed listening to this as an audiobook.
