The sprinkling of “woke” is not necessary. I don’t need to be lectured.

Audible. When male narrators try to voice female characters.. cringe. Just hire another voice actor.

I tried this series because I'm a fan of the narrator but this book a hot mess! First and foremost, I would have loved for at least one character to have a personality, esp. the protagonist. Also, a story that actually made sense would have helped. This book is a collection of tropes doing and saying tropey things alongside other equally tropey tropes. Awful. Give this one a miss.
