Have you ever been to Wylde, Idaho?
Well, you can go there if you like, all you have to do is dive into this thrilling adventure series by Annie Bellet! This series came highly recommended by one of my favourites, Tricia O’Malley. I was playing D & D 3 or 4 times a month so I thought, why not? So far, I have read the first 5 books of this 10 book series and I am very much looking forward to reading the rest. The first 3 books I read as an immersive experience and you can get those as a group for 1 credit on Audible. If you are into all manners of mythical creatures, rolling for initiative, and fighting evil, then this is a series you need to check out. The books are a quick read, and very engaging.
The Twenty-Sided Sorceress series stars Jade Crow, a comic book and game store owner in the fictional town of Wylde, Idaho. Oh, did I mention she is a sorceress? Jade has been living peacefully for some time until evil from her past catches up to her and threatens her life and those she loves.

Performance Dull! Couldn't get past chapter 5
I really wanted to like this. Love a quirky character with some sass and badassery. Unfortunately I just did not get the Story Teller. The voice was depressed, monotone and lifeless. Didn't fit my idea of this quirky, character. The world building is all right. Fun nerd and D&D references. I might try this book again and just read it myself, so I can get the voices and cadences right in my head. But I'm returning this audiobook. Just can't do it.
