First, both narrators are amazing. I’ve listened to Zachary Webber/Andi Arndt in other books and they never disappoint.

I liked it enough that I would listen to it again, which for me is high praise.

A good romance

Although, the ‘boss-intern’ story line has been written before, this book is unique in regards to the circumstances the hero and heroine each find themselves in. The book is well written but there is something to consider. The heroine deals with a fair bit of double standard when it comes to her romantic and sister brother relationships. The hero’s motivations are rather superficial. Yet, he expresses judgment regarding the heroine in varying situations. Also, it’s never mentioned whether or not the brother has a job to help support himself. These double standards are problematic. Hopefully there will be resolution regarding this by the end of book 2. It’s preferable if female characters aren’t portrayed as the ones that need to constantly bend or live with double standards.
Narration was great but there was some whistling when the female narrator pronounced certain words.

Book 2:
End of chapter 8 heroine finally becomes assertive with some awareness of how she’s being treated. However, nothing relational is really resolved. Heroine still 'puts up' with double standards for a fair bit of book 2. Thankfully, better late than never, the author does develop the heroine to a greater degree. Regardless of the flaws heroes & heroines are presented with, it's great to also show female characters with moxie. If they don't have it at the beginning of the book hopefully they develop some by the end of the book.

Dom and Presley are such interesting, fun, relatable characters. I enjoyed their romance. I enjoyed their time on page together. The secondary characters added to the fabric of the story and the characters – especially Dom’s twins.

I enjoyed the narrators.

Before I say anything....If you listen to this book you need to get the next one too. This is part one of two.
Seven Nights of Sin in the next book to read.

This book is only the half story.

I wanted to slap Presley and Dominic at one time or another.

Can’t tell you what happens but worth listening too.

Andi Arndt was a very good narrator too.
