A bittersweet journey
I laughed out loud, I cried out loud. At times I wanted to shake Harold and tell him to say “No”...but then I understood that living a gentle and kind life may cause you heartache but in the end you can rest easy knowing that you lived your life the only way you knew how, and you did your very best not to hurt anyone along the way. A bit of an emotional roller coaster, but well worth the ride.

Devastatingly Wonderful
This is a most wonderful and often devastating tale. Jim Broadbent captures Harold brilliantly. I wish I had discovered Rachel Joyce years ago. Now that I have, I won't let go.
