Description
Audrey and Ruby are cousins who are always together. The only time they are apart is when Ruby is studying or Audrey takes meetings with her business partner, Luke. The meetings can last half the night. Ruby accidently walks into one of these 'business meetings' but sees her cousin Audrey draining the blood out of an innocent victim, or so she thinks. From this day forward, Audrey makes Ruby promise to keep her cousin's secret.
Not only is she forced to keep her cousins secret, but when Ahab Nash, leader of an elite clan of Vampiric Gypsies, murders an ancient leader of the Vampire Council to steal the ancient elixir, revenge must be inflicted and Audrey "The Duchess" is sent to track him down.
The innocent Ruby is caught up in the mix and is kidnapped for ransom. She now realizes that she has stumbled upon a feud, between her family's Gypsy bloodline and that of the Nash Clan.
