Description

I really did not expect this...

This book was well written, there were many characters, all of them very different and very well described which is not that often the case in suspense / murder novels. It helped this reader keep engaged in the story.

Of course the author gives us the culprit near the end, but nonetheless I was not at all expecting the way this book ended, which was different from any other suspense I ever read (but I have not read that many suspense books).

I chose to listen to this audio book after reading a review by Barbara on Goodreads and I am so grateful to her for her review because now I have a whole new series to listen to on audio books.

I can only say I will definitely have to read the next book in the series, to get to know more about Simon Serrailler. The end of this book left me wondering about him... maybe the man has a heart after all.
