Description

For as long as he can remember, Blake K. Healy has seen angels and demons. He sees them as clearly as he would see you if you were standing right in front of him. He sees angels dancing in worship services and whispering words of encouragement in people's ears. He also sees demons latching on to people and perpetuating addiction and bitterness in their hearts.

The Veil chronicles how Blake matured in this gifting, while overcoming the fear and confusion of what he saw, how he learned to use his gift of seeing for God's glory, and how to teach others to do the same.

This new and updated version of The Veil also includes a brief guide on how to begin growing in the gift of seeing in the spirit yourself, as well as an appendix of scriptural references to the spirit realm and angels, along with Blake's commentary on these passages.

Eye-opening (haha)

A fascinating and exciting collection of insights into the spiritual world. Wholeheartedly focused on the love of God, and revelatory about a powerful gift with a purpose. Some dark scenery, some parts might be a little much for young audiences to handle.

A Definite Must Read

This book came highly recommended by someone I highly esteem and once I was halfway through the book I had already recommended it to those in my immediate spiritual family. This is an authentic sharing of someone with a unique gift of seeing spiritual beings and environments with the same reality that we see natural things with our eyes. His experiences reinforced my own more infrequent and more limited experiences and stirred me again to the reality of the unseen and the heart of our Heavenly Father for us. This book is a gift to each of us regardless of our current faith walk or spiritual understanding.

Life-changing

Wowowowow
This book is so crazy. Blake gives very detailed explanations of what he can see in the spirit realm, and its absolutely fascinating. This book instantly motivated me to start practicing the same, and I found myself praying in my dreams somehow!

I didn't want this book to end!

I loved this book! The author is honest and vulnerable with his story. It was so helpful to me and things I've experienced. I literally finished it 30 minutes ago and am going to listen to now for a second time. Thank you, Blake, for sharing your story. Amazing!

Great book

This book was fantastic! I had read an excerpt of this book in Charisma magazine and it peaked my interest. I am pleasantly surprised at the real talk by the author about the gifts of the Spirit. I found myself excited to hear the next chapter! You will not be disappointed! 44 years of following Jesus, and still deeper things

I have been a mainline Christian, a fundamentalist Christian, a legalistic Christian, a charismatic Christian, a legalistic charismatic Christian, and now more of a confused, ignorant follower of Jesus, knowing there is more, seeing it unfold, forgetting half of it and ending up more desiring Him than ever. This helped me see new horizons. And Jesus used it to break me free of some pride and some obstacles. Thank you.

Fantastic listen!!

Fantastic book! So very enlightening, and easy listening. It really put what is happening big all around each of us in perspective so that we can intentionally partner with Heaven’s agenda rather than the demonic. Even as an intercessor it has heighten my senses and desire in prayer.

I was riveted

I listed to this twice today. I was riveted. the only thing about it that I didn't like, was that it ended too quickly. I wanted more. I hope this author will write many more books and go deeper into this subject.

Very new agey

My sister recommended this book to me. I almost could not get through it. God is not this complicated. I know Healy fully believes his visions are good but as an ex new ager this content did not sit right with me.

As followers of Christ we have to be discerning. If you want to know more about where I am coming from with this review please check out Charles Spurgeon, Justin Peters, Doreen Virtue, and the documentary ‘American Gospel’.
