À propos de cet audio
The Wiggly World of Numbers is a bright, joyful, and imaginative children’s book that transforms the basics of counting into a playful adventure filled with rhyme, rhythm, and laughter. Designed for young readers just beginning to explore numbers, the story brings each digit from one to ten to life through lively characters, silly scenarios, and action-packed imagery. New number are introduced alongside an engaging rhyme that encourages counting, listening, and participation.
The journey begins with One, represented as the sun shining high above the world. The warm and happy sun is more than a symbol of a new day, it gently wakes the birds, who flutter and fly, setting the tone for the rest of the counting adventure.
With Two, the story moves to little shoes that clomp and stomp through puddles, splashing water with noisy delight.
Next, Three busy bees appear, buzzing “zippity-zee” as they dart from flower to flower, embodying both energy and focus.
The fun continues with Four silly frogs, perched on a lily pad, playfully tipping hats and rocking their boat. These scenes not only illustrate the numbers but also weave humor and rhythm into each moment.
The action grows bigger with Five jumping jacks flipping high in the air and tumbling into piles of crunchy autumn leaves, bringing a sense of motion and fun.
Then comes the mystery of Six socks, which seem to have vanished, perhaps stolen by the dryer for its own amusement. With this playful twist, the book embraces the everyday wonders and little mysteries children often notice in their own lives.
The energy soars again with Seven red kites, soaring fast through the breeze, their tails tangling together at the tops of the trees.
Then under the water, Eight slippery fish swirl in quiet, wiggly circles, showing both calmness and wonder.
As the story nears its peak, Nine noisy drums burst forth with sounds of “boom-boom-bang” and “clangety-clang,” rattling rooftops and filling the air with music and rhythm.
