Pursuing questions of identity and insanity along the paths and corridors of English country houses and the madhouse, The Woman in White is the first and most influential of the Victorian genre that combined Gothic horror with psychological realism.
Public Domain (P)2019 Penguin AudioRevisiting it on Audible was an excellent decision as I had forgotten the details of the story and it captured me again. The story is suspenseful and intriguing, and Tim’s performance is excellent.
Highly recommend this book.
