While the three cultural tent poles - the South, the Church, and Sports - defined many aspects of his East Tennessee upbringing, it was pop culture that influenced Knox and his sense of the world at large.

Always a joy

Knox is such a pleasure to listen to. I don't normally love audiobooks but as a super fan of everything Knox and Jamie do, I was excited to see he was the reader of his own book which I've been putting off reading since it was released. Funny and thought provoking. I found myself rewinding once in awhile to re-listen to little nuggets of wisdom he had and felt like I was a pentecostal congregant saying out loud "Yeah that's so good." Highly recommend this book for a light hearted read/listen with eureka moments scattered throughout.
