James Maloneys start in life was rooted in abuse, rejection, and fear. As a teenager, facing thoughts of suicide, he cried out to God, "If you're real, you're going to have to reveal yourself to me."

Jesus Christ appeared to James in a cloud of glory and told him, "I have heard your cry for acceptance. I have heard your cry for reality, and I love you just the way you are."

Like many others in this world, James suffered under severe wounds of rejection stemming from physical and emotional abuse as a child. He labored under fear and isolation. Even so, his moving testimony shows Jesus as the Great Physicianone who can uproot any issue and touch any person and make them whole, no matter how wounded they may be.

The Wounded Cry is a dynamic, true story of one young mans search for acceptance and love, and how a touch from God can turn any horrible situation into a praise report of his glory.
