I got this book free with my audible subscription and didn't have the highest hopes for it when I started it but I would (and do) recommend this book to everyone I know! Jess is so incredible and this book has helped me boost my confidence as a fat woman so much! I feel so great about myself after reading this book and I am definitely going to be listening to it over and over again for forever now. definitely listen to this book!!!!

This is an empowering but grounded book that’s well written and Jes M Baker does a great job of enthusiastically reading it out for us.

Thank you for smashing the boundaries of what my body “should” look like! I’ve always tried to embrace my body and go with “how I feel” in it but I realize now I still held so many untrue rules up as standards. I’ve rocked full piece bathing suits for a very very long time as that’s what I’ve always felt the most comfortable in…but just before completing this book I decided to live boldly and buy the dang bikini, 5 actually 🤣! My squishy belly and wrinkled button were told they are wonderful this past weekend, by the one who’s word and opinion I value most, myself! Than you for giving me new perspective and know that I’ll be sharing this with all the beautiful people I know!

Idk, some of her arguments were contradicting, at least two statistics were misrepresented in a way that gives falls impression (even if I agree with a point, this is no way to go about it - data must not be misused this way). I didn't learn much that was new to me, and the nasal voice of the performer was a little unpleasant.
