This Life and All the Rest is book 2 in the duet. This duet needs to be read in order given the way book one finishes. It is the conclusion of Lennon and Macon's love story. Whoever said that love was easy hasn't read this book. Do they finally get their HEA ending? Yes. Does it come at a price? Most definitely. Second chance romance at its best! The pull these two characters have, even after 4 years apart, is undeniable. Unresolved feelings and pent-up anger come to blows as both try and come to terms with their new reality. Truth is, their love is strong regardless of all the obstacles that they are faced with.
Did I cry? Did I scream, did I find myself fist pumping the air while reading on multiple occasions. YES! The roller-coaster of emotions that this book exudes is a testimony of Brit Benson's writing, and that is why she has become a one click author for me. Top duet of the year for me for sure! 💜
