Description

Narrator Kieran Flitton gave an almost magical performance. This audiobook warrants turning off all distractions, grabbing your favorite drink, chill back and relax while listening to the story unfold. Kieran has a beautiful lilt in his voice, he creates that unique experience while he enthusiastically guides listeners through this gripping story of greed, love, and desire. Listeners will find it impossible not to become fully submerged with these almost fairy tale dynamics.

Pros:
🌟Great engaging story (fairy tale)

🌟Skillful narration

🌟Two very likable protagonists were relatable, although the plot had a fairy tale feel to it

🌟Unique in the sense that it could take place in reality, but still has a Disney princess undertone. Horrible greedy power-hungry father, with a sweet oppressed son forced to marry and live in a castle cut off from the rest of the world.

Cons:
🌟 Some listeners might like the longer descriptions of the world outside the castle. Why his father is so evil and what his thinking was. Where did he want to go with all the power? Was he in the end just plain crazy?

Verdict:
I recommend listening to this audiobook, It was very enjoyable and won’t disappoint.
