À propos de cet audio
Threads of the Unseen follows the story of Evelyn Morgan, a seamstress in Victorian London who lives a quiet life mending clothes while secretly fighting for the rights of the working class. Evelyn’s life is marked by loss and hardship, but she hides her revolutionary spirit behind a mask of calm, quietly organizing workers and advocating for change. When she meets James Whitmore, a charismatic and driven journalist with a troubled past, they form a powerful alliance, united by their shared desire to expose the brutal conditions the lower classes face.
Together, they work to ignite a rebellion against the wealthy elite, who control the factories and the lives of the poor. Their relationship deepens as they navigate the dangers of revolution, finding both strength and vulnerability in each other. However, their movement faces betrayal from within their own ranks. Evelyn is left heartbroken when the betrayal threatens to undo everything they’ve worked for, and she is forced to confront her own fears and the sacrifices required in the fight for justice. As the revolution threatens to unravel, Evelyn must decide whether to retreat into grief or become the leader her people need, even at the cost of her personal happiness.
Set against the gritty backdrop of industrial London, Threads of the Unseen explores themes of love, sacrifice, and the fight for dignity in a world that seeks to silence the powerless. Evelyn’s journey is one of transformation as she learns that the true strength of revolution lies not just in grand acts of defiance but in the quiet determination of those willing to stitch together the broken threads of society.
