Description

Stranded in a time and place he never wished for, Kishan Rajaram struggles to forget the girl he loves and the brother who stole her away as he fulfills his divine role - that of assisting the beautiful, yet extremely irritable, goddess Durga.

When the wily shaman Phet appears and tells Kishan that Kelsey needs him, he jumps at the chance to see her again, but in saving Kelsey, he discovers that the curse he thought was over is just beginning. As time unravels around him, Kishan realizes that the fates of all those he holds dear lie in his hands.

With the power of the goddess hanging in the balance, Kishan must sacrifice the unthinkable to fight the dark forces swirling around the woman he's charged to defend. As he does, he discovers that love and loyalty create their own magic and accepts that he must decide his destiny once and for all.

Disapointing WARNING SEXUAL ABUSIVE CONTENT

I was excited for an ending to Tigers Curse out then between kidnappings and sexual abuse sences this book ruined the whole serries and any other books she might write for fear others books will have the same dark writing in them. To me this book is not a YA book and runs very close to home for those who have been abused by someone who took freedoms away from you.

perfect ending for an exciting epic tale

This is a perfect ending of an exciting epic tale, beyond the standard happily ever after. Every chapter daring to ask what will happen next.

Speechless

I have spoke of so many books I have read and loved, but never.... has one touched my heart so intensely. Beautifully written... beautifully narrated. The audio reader could not have been anymore perfect for this performance and the book could not have been written any more beautifully. My heart mind and soul is full and I am glad I listened to the audio verses reading myself. I honestly could not have pictured it any other way.

This series is EPIC!

The development of the plot and the characters have been beyond storytelling. It was unique life altering.
Each book grabbed my heart and pulled. Though I completed the series I can return to the Tigers Curse anytime. With laughter and tears and a sigh when I turn the last page of Tigers Dream! The long awaited conclusion of Tigers Curse has stilled my heart. I think I will begin Tigers curse right now to be lost in this story of sacrifice and the unfailing love of The Tigers

Not What I Expected

The book was not what I expected, it was more of a character development for Kishan than an adventure. The performance was really good but the story not so much.

Wow! What a Journey!

Kathleen Houck is an amazing story teller!!!!
I thought Tiger's Destiny was a wonderful end to a great series, however hearing everything from Kishan's perspective was an amazing story and incredible. I rarely say that about any books and stories I read and each of the audio books narrators have been wonderful to listen to. It was so magical and wonderful of a journey and is in many ways just as creative as the Harry Potter worlds. I loved all the books and I loved the complexities of Tiger's Dream. It was well worth the wait because Houck was so spot on with the concepts of time travel that many have a hard time with. She is even better than J. K. Rowlings with the complexities of time travel and all the pit falls there are when writers don't keep certain laws of quantum physics of time travel AND she simplified it to where readers could easily keep up without getting too confused. Wow I can't wait listen to the whole series from the beginning until the end again and again. Houck is an amazing writer and does her research. I think I love her even more than I love J. K. Rowlings!
