this is a great story and I enjoyed the dynamics of all the characters but I found the narrator lacking, a good narrator could have made the story that much better. it felt like the narrator was just reading a story and sometimes it got confusing as to who was speaking. the story is great though!

While I’ve really enjoyed many other books by this author, this book was disappointing. The author spent a lot of time telling rather than showing the story, which made the pace slow and unexciting.
