I have read and re-read better then half the books righted by John Ringo. I has since re-bought most of the ones a binge read on Audible so I can continue to enjoy them while I drive. at the time.of the writing of this review I believe I am on my 4th listen through of this series after at least two readings.

Before even the first chapter is over, I am having a hard time with this one. The attitude of the male towards the one female character in the "compartment" calling her a "split" (a derogatory term for women that was historically used as a sexual slur) and then essentially ordering her to have intercourse with the men because he wouldn't be able to keep them from assaulting her, is more than just a little offensive. Also the whole idea of "what happens in the compartment stays in the compartment" kind of falls apart when they start listing off things like paedophilia and incest. While the male character says that if the men in the compartment assault the woman, they are no better than zombies, how is ordering/forcing her to "put out" any better?
I'm disappointed that I am unable to return this title, I bought it when it was on sale and not with a credit.
