À propos de cet audio
He will protect this town.
Glenn Redwood has longed to become an Adventurer since he was a young boy, and has focused every waking moment since he turned 14 on leveling and growing stronger.
Answering the challenge of the Gods of Luxtera, he has fought Monsters to prove himself again and again. He has earned the right to travel the world and protect its people... but the Gods have other plans.
After they choose Glenn to become a Town Guard, he is charged with protecting his small town and everyone within. His dreams of traveling the world seem all but impossible. Even so, as he upgrades his new Town Guard Class, Glenn learns that one does need to travel abroad to find challenge, adventure, friendship, and even love.
And the people he wants most strongly to protect may have been in his small village all along.
Don't miss the start of a new LitRPG Adventure with strong-to-stronger progression, strategic battles, endearing characters, and slice-of-life elements. Join Glenn as he shows just how large a small town can be, making new friends and supportive allies as he gains experience for everything from Watching the Gate Quests to Slaying Attacking Monsters.
©2022 Rhett C. Bruno (P)2022 Recorded BooksLove this narrator. He has a unique narrating style that works very well for military and his narration breathes extra life into the characters. I’d swear theses characters were written with his narration in mind, maybe it true…and it’s a good thing tools. This gentleman narrator has landed in my top 5. He has an excellent range and surprisingly efficacious at producing female voices that are different enough from each other and not distracting. I always for left it’s a dude narrating the women, takes some skill to do that.
This series has the chance of blooming into an epic in the genre. If you view the differences and the seeming rigidity of the rules governing the world as peculiarities of the pantheon itself, then it creates a hole new range of questions. By constraining the world, if the author begins to break down those rules, it will create a very dynamic scenario for a growing cast of characters. And the town guard roll…I was worried it was going to turn into almost a punishment for our main character. Surprises abound.
This is a great start to a new series. Fantastic narration.
