Description

The information contained in this book contradicts nearly everything you've been led to believe about democracy and "representative government".

Based on the groundbreaking research of respected historian Carroll Quigley, Tragedy and Hope 101 reveals an unimaginably devious political system, skillfully manipulated by a handful of elite, which is undermining freedom and democracy as we know it. The goal of those who control the system, in Quigley's own words, is to dominate "all habitable portions of the world." Using deception, theft, and violence, they have achieved more toward this goal than any rulers in human history.

However, the Information Age is quickly derailing their plans. The immorality of their system, and those who serve it, has become nearly impossible to hide. Awareness and resistance are growing...tragedy is yielding to hope.

Great book!!!!

This was one of the most enlightening books I have read, very well referenced, and on par with The Creature From Jekyll Island. Additionally, the author has made available a link to listen online for free at http://www.joeplummer.com/audiobook

If you do decide to get this book, be sure the author is Joseph Plummer. His book is a summary of a 1,367 page historical account of the deep state by Carroll Quigley with a similar title originally published in 1966 and only available in print or pdf. (You can find the pdf version as a free download online - https://archive.org/details/tragedyandhope02) It has a very high rating as well but is a long slow read. Quigley was a true Washington insider, Harvard educated, professor and historian. He taught at Princeton, Harvard and Georgetown University as well as consulting for the U.S. Department of Defence, the U.S. Navy, and Congress.

Bill Clinton named Quigley as an important influence on his aspirations and political philosophy. Dare I say more.

Not bad, but not great.

Based on other reviews I thought this would be ground breaking and epic, but it was short and it just skimmed over a few topics.

More truth than Hope

A great synopsis of Quigley’s work for those with limited attention span. Highly recommend for honest history.

GREAT !!

1st - is it one chapter missing?
2nd - to wake up eg. my neighbor, I need simple and solid analysis on how “network” affect his daily life. If average Joe digest this, than He will see big picture.
Personally, I need paper version to copy or quote.
