Phenomenal
This was such an excellent book. I never felt as though it dragged, or that characters were left undeveloped, and it kept me guessing til the end! As well as the excellent storytelling, this is an important book because it brings much-needed Indigenous voices and traditions into the world of fiction writing. The narrator is sure in her pronunciations, and does an excellent job. In addition, unlike many books, I felt like the romance aspects of the book were true to what it's like for trauma survivors, and for once didn't leave me feeling awkward while listening.
All around, a stellar book and performance. Can't wait to get the next one!!

I'm addicted to well-written urban fantasy
I loved that it's read by a Metis actress! And I can't stop talking about this book, I think my friends are just smiling and nodding as I fangirl at this point.

Love love loved it
This was a great take on coyote and the story was great I love that an indigenous write is actually writing about indigenous mythos and such not just another yt lady writing about a native and making money

if you like urban fantasy...
So good. If you like Dresden and Iron Druid; give this a listen. The world is so fascinating; post-apactoliptic, native magic, with all the mystery of gods and double crossing immortals.
