Description
Tribulation is a twisted mystery about an end-of-days religious cult manipulating space and traveling across planes of existence on electricity and radio signals. Cult members willingly accept seven brutal years of torture, known as their “tribulation,” to atone for their earthly sins and come out on the other side saved (or thoroughly brainwashed?). The hero of this thriller, Stacy Carlson, must uncover the mystery of the Tribulation cult after her husband Greg is kidnapped by its leader, Brother Elijah (Josh Charles), through a bizarre AM radio broadcast. Greg’s disappearance leads Stacy into this world of zealots, skeptical law enforcement, and a former rock star turned conspiracy radio host, Reid Singer. Stacy and Reid team up to uncover the truth about the otherworldly religious mythology before them. Will Stacy find her husband and bring down the cult? All will be revealed by the end of Tribulation.
Tribulation comes alive with immersive sound design and stellar multi-cast performance.

Better as a movie?
Very sound heavy. Could have used more words to describe instead of just sounds. Not a waste of time though.

Truly amazing
To be honest, there was a couple of parts that did drag a bit, however not once I was bored with the audible at all. The effects were on point, the acting on everyone’s rule was so spot on and bone chilling.
I can definitely say if this audible was ever a tv show, I would watch it 100%

great performance and intriguing start
Great performance from the casts and sound crew for this audio drama. I was intrigue by the cult setting but a little disappointed by the messy ending. overall enjoyable

Great Story
Binge worthy story and performances. Amazing sound effects and audio quality. Highly entertaining and would recommend. Not a teen book as some other reviews stated.

Strong start, weak finish
This story is so interesting and scary but the end isn’t worthy of the beginning. I still gave it 5 stars because it’s worth listening to but I wish it had a stronger ending.

An immersive experience with an okay story
Tribulation is an enjoyable sci-fi story, with an intriguing concept and lively characters. The voice acting was great. The story itself was an interesting idea, although it felt to me a jumbled together at times and I ended up getting a little lost. It seemed like the elements weren’t always cohesive and the ending was so abrupt that I wasn’t even sure that it *was* the ending.
Overall, an enjoyable way to while away a few hours, but not a story I’m ever planning on returning to or would voraciously recommend. 6/10

WOW!
I can't believe that I was able to listen to this amazing story for FREE! I'm loving all the full cast dramatizations audible are doing now. I hope they pump lots of funding into stuff like this in the future.

Long, but really good

BLOWN AWAY!!!
Honestly, I don't know if I can put into words just how AWESOME this production is, but I'll try! I listened from start to finish without stopping and was rapt the entire time. The plot is SO twisted! At times, I was terrified, then excited, then angry, then hopeful, it just twists and turns, and it is so well performed! I just couldn't stop; I had to finish it. I absolutely did not expect it to be this good! Listen to it; you won't regret it.
