Struck by a tragedy in his past that has made him cold and unable to connect with others, Simon Byrne will pay for his sins. Trapped in a VR pod by a vengeful billionaire with a mysterious grudge, he is forced to play Lumos Sentient, a game of magic and myth where dying in the simulation means dying in real life.
He meets other prisoners in the game, including an adventuring party of beautiful women with incredible powers who will teach him how to embody one of four divine races. Simon will become more god and animal than human, stronger and faster than ever – if he can keep his tail, and something else, in his pants.
But as they fight through forests and dungeons infested with hostile creatures and bloodthirsty priests of a necromantic cult, Simon learns a disturbing fact: each player has a dark past and is guilty of sins like his – sins that will be punished.
Simon and his new friends must overcome their differences, join forces, and find redemption if they wish to escape and go back home. But none of them knows the actual truth.
Lumos Sentient is more than a game. It is a mastermind with a sinister plan.
