Lord I love this audiobook. It’s so good. The voices! The narration is phenomenal and when working with a text with such a fully fleshed out engaging world it’s like magic to one’s ears! The dynamics of the story, characters and world combine to make this beautiful melody of romance and adventure. I can only say one thing. “It's the most beautiful love story you've ever heard in your entire life, basically."

I got so swept up in this book, the depth of character the writer gave Oskar and Gwen was incredible and the voice actors brought it to life so vividly.

There’s not much to say other than this was a great story. Beyond the romance, being well written, unbelievable, the characters had lovely arcs, were just the right amount of complex, the descriptions were entertaining, and the fantasy every bit as captivating as a Dungeons & Dragons game. The narrators did a lovely job, and their performance enhanced the book beautifully.
