This book explains the ways a doctor protected herself against cancer. There is many stories about her patients and her own life. Some interesting facts about knowing you have a BRCA variant and beating cancer. Lots of information on the emotional struggles post mastectomy. I wished it shared more about the recovery periods of the surgeries as that is what is never spoken about.
