Jewel E Ann does a great job at slow burns

I think I went into this book with high hopes considering I LOVED Naked Love (2nd book in this "series"). Don't get me wrong, I still enjoyed this book but for me it became a little too toxic for my enjoyment.

Jewel E Ann does a great job at a slow burn plot. Undeniably You is exactly that. I had lots of questions and thoughts throughout the whole book. I kept shaking my head wondering how the story was going to unfold. I enjoyed the book for that reason even though I'm not a huge fan of slow burns. There was a lot of going back and forth between the characters for obvious reasons (if you read this book). I thought the characters were (mostly) mature (comparing them to characters from other romance books). I don't foresee this book being written any other way cause these characters go through a lot of love, heartbreak and rebuilding relationships which is something Jewel E Ann does SOOOO good at writing about. I've said this before in other reviews of Jewel E Ann's books but her writing must be laced with something. Even though I felt it became toxic, I couldn't drop the book. I NEEDED to know how it ended.

PLEASE BEWARE: Cheating occurs. I'm not a fan whatsoever of cheating, so that was a turn off for me.
