À propos de cet audio
Would you live a lie to hold onto the one you love?
Dean and Jason are best friends, like brothers since boyhood, now architecture students and college roommates. They've always had each other's back, but when one walks in on the other with another man, everything changes. How do you explain to your best friend that he's the one you've always wanted, that until now your life has been a lie?
Desperation and shame are two dirty words that run through Jason's veins. He carries the scars from a wayward priest who stole his innocence and left him shattered. Meanwhile for years he's watched Dean pursuing woman after woman, as his own heart slowly breaks.
When their world blows apart, they learn the powerful bond between them has more fire than either understood. Can two broken souls find the light in their darkness and come together to make a whole, or will sins of the past be forever unforgiven?

DNF- normally I would not rate a book if I DNF’d it but this one was “special.” First and foremost this needs so many trigger warnings!! There is on page SEXUAL ASSAULT AND RAPE! This needs to be noted! Also the women in this book are horrible, literally all of them are either assaulting someone, a girl who fetishizes gay relationships and a mother who wants to “church out the gay.” There is one single conversation with one mom who is apparently “liberal” and “supports this stuff” and yet both her children are homophobic jock type assholes.
Tbh I have read a fair number of MM romance books and surprisingly had yet to find one I would consider problematic. This is the one. It paints gay relationships so negatively it’s shocking! And honestly it might have a great finish but there is no way I’m making it there. I stopped when the lawyers were asking this young adult (felt like a high school kid) about how/when/where he was assaulted by his priest. Not to mention he had already actively relived 3 incidents where he recalls being SA’d and raped.
This is a hard no.
