Description

now, I am not an Alice fan but this series has me captivated. I'm invested in the characters and the world and now I can't stop reading. on to the next. I'm soo excited to see where this goes next.

Enchanting!
I really enjoyed the compelling nature of the story and the author's use of description made it come to life. Definitely worth a listen!

amazing story gives a new twist to aloxe in wonderland. definitely recommend if you enjoy these types of stories .

Horrible
The subject of the story is somewhat interesting with the MC being the descendant of former queen Red of Wonderland with a caterpillar or butterfly as companion.
But and it’s a big but, the plot is childish, the caracters have no depth and wine constantly about themselves and their perseved goals or purpose.
This series of books may be targeted to teen audience because there is very few places for sound reasoning in this story but there is no growth nor improvement in mentally. Stupidity and impulsivity lead the way all the way.
The MC is riddled with complexes, cannot control her jealousy and impulsivity. She tries to justify her actions with the most childish reasons, that makes no sense.
The way the story is presented is that the MC has to be pitied because she has magic that should not be used on earth where she is an outsider looking in; the underdog with a hot boy toy. And she really doesn’t want to return to wonderland to fight Red…
Really all the characters feel 2D with no depth; they exist to provide a reason for the MC to justify her self worth.
I gave this story a fair chance by forcing myself to read /listen to the fist book and starting this second book… to decide that the torture had to end and I returned the book (free in Aug. 2023 on Audible plus catalogue for members).
if you are waiting for improvement in the pace, storyline, depth and purpose of the characters. Don’t! There’s none.
