Everytime I start a Nissa Kathryn's book I can't stop listening! I love her writing and the characters she create. She give us humour, emotions, good banter, suspense, spice, romance. This book make no exception.
We follow Beckett and Skylar's story. He's the Fire Chief of Amber Ridge, Former Navy Seal and he love fighting with his neighbor, Sky.
Few years ago, Sky moved in another city to get out from under her controlling parents. After several incidents and a tragedy happen to her, she's back in Amber Ridge to start a new life and trying to heal. She's the owner of a dogs daycare and everything's going well except for her parents who play matchmaker and Becket, her annoying neighbor (to be polite).
After her parents try again to send her on a date with a guy she can't stand, she declare that Becket is her new boyfriend. What started as enemy neighbours becomes a fake relationship...but is it really a fake relation???
While they try to understand what is between them, a series of incidents occur in Amber Ridge and it seems that the past repeats for Sky. Becket is ready to do everything to protect her but it won’t be easy. She's stubborn, good thing he's too.
Unraveled is performed in duet by Aiden Snow and CJ Bloom. What an amazing team! The deep voice of Aiden give us the perfect Becket and CJ? She's in my top favorite narrator and she's fantastic as Sky 👌
