I really want to finish this book, but the narrators are beyond terrible. The cheesy 'deep' voices that are supposed to be tough guys ....so cringe, as the kids say. Please have these books re recorded!

loved this book. I didn't notice my husband placing my other earbud in his ear. He just stared at me in shock but an amusing one. lol... He said, after I noticed, "No wonder your nose is in the books so much"

this was a book I never wanted to end. I loved it from start to finish and had me on the edge over and over again. if you like dark romance this is a must have to have in your collection.

This review is for anyone who feels the quality of writing in this area has gone to crap since COVID and and TikTok bookTok has blown up. I would like to start this by saying I'm not an author nor do I think I could be. That being said as a listener that paid more than $20 for this book that had great reviews I expect to listen to someone who can write smutt with at least a little substance. Main male character was supposed to be a boss but sounded like a meathead. Simply put narration was unbearable. To be honest I couldn't even get through this book. Kudos to those that could. but for real can I get a refund pls.
