Loved the whole thing. Wish it was narrated by Neil Young like his other book.

Neil's eclectic storytelling style is mesmerizing and Keith Carradine does a wonderful "Neil sounding" read. I liked this version better than the book!

The narrator did an excellent job conveying Neil Young’s stream of thought prose, but, I felt the author’s voice would have conveyed a better sense of his many life experiences between recordings.

If you are considering this audiobook, I would say buy it, as it’s filled with soulful reflections of his numerous memories as though shared by campfire light. His nostalgia for the town in northern Ontario had me thinking of the novel, ( The Stillin ) in the way his hopes and dreams were challenged by loss and struggle while chasing love.

A fantastic journey that leaves the listener with a desire to hear more about who really was his “Cinnamon Girl” in 1969.
