The ending is too predictable
It been a while since I read the other book and I didn't love it as much as the other, but I grew out of this kind of story. It good for commute or when you don't have your full attention on the book, but not good enough for reading the physical book.

Awesome Story
Loved the story. Performance had some hiccups especially around scene breaks within a chapter. Found myself having to go back a few times to follow what happened because those breaks were so subtle they were easy to miss. Otherwise awesome all around. Couldn't put it down.

Left me with a hole
The ending of the book leaves you feeling that Victoria ripped a big hole in you with no intention filling it. If you like endings that are wrapped with a bow this isn't the series for you. BESIDES THAT. This is a great series with a lot of emotion and good character development. I couldn't stop listening, I wish that there was a fifth book or a novella to leave me with some closure.

not perfect but rounded up to a 5/5
really loved this whole series! great story, excellent narrators. It's not totally perfect but it closer to a 5 than a 4 for me.

Amazing series and so much fun to listen to.
I really enjoyed this series and this book in particular with the hints about their geography. The story is captivating including the mental impact of war on those involved, not shying away from it but keeping it YA.

Great Series
I really enjoyed this series. Well built characters and great moral lessons in there too. I challenge anyone who harbors racial discrimination to get through this series without positive change.

Meh
I found this book difficult to pay attention to. It had a lot of long drawn out sections that were rather uneventful and frankly boring. My mind wandered a lot and I had to keep going back because I would find I wasn’t paying attention. The ending was rather anticlimactic. I expected better from all the build up. Disappointing. It was a different experience having so many different voices for the characters.

I’m left confused and have more questions than anything. The ending was rushed and I’m in need of answers! The writing felt over dramatic in more cases and the metaphors a little over the top. The narrators were solid, but the story was lacking.
