Another wonderful journey

So I was thoroughly enjoying these books until the fateful scene in this installment. Ross raped Elizabeth, and it is completely unacknowledged. It totally undermines his character, and I don't like a cliff hanger, but I stopped caring about his fate immediately. DNF.
