Okay for the most part the story arcs are still good but seriously when Jackson started facing off an evil pirate "froglock" the corny factor just kind of spiked. Same with the whole demonic nemesis vs God and country trope. All this with no backstory context and mixing in the seemingly agnostic elves. I mean some of the spiritual and political themes are kind of predictable. Bigoted player bent on racial purity commits genocide but is ousted back in the day and wants to try again now that he's been upgraded to a mysterious demonic entity or what not? Does that about sum everything up? it's more fun when it's about family survival and realizations than some kind of theological crusade.

Still good but getting cheesy and obvious.

I find myself skipping chapters that are part of her story they are waaaaay too reflective and introspective. I groan every to.e she goes on about her beliefs and constant mistakes
