 With the emperor Napoleon at its head, an enormous French army is marching toward Brussels. The British and their allies are also converging on Brussels - in preparation for a grand society ball. And it is up to Richard Sharpe to convince the Prince of Orange, the inexperienced commander of Wellington's Dutch troops, to act before it is too late. The voice for Sharpe was terrible in my opinion but seemed decent compared to the abysmal voice of poor Harper, reduced to a pubescent Irish child

Bernard Cornwell is a master of historical battles and a great storyteller too. Before listening... for the history of the battle of Waterloo, I'd read a synopsis like wikipedia and look at a couple of maps to get aligned in space and time... and then go back in time with Bernard Cornwell to 1815 and Napoleon's last battle, the only time that the armies led by Wellington and Napoleon actually faced each other. Enjoy.
