This is the weakest of four or five Don Winslow titles I’ve read/listened to and by far the weakest. As usual, his characters are interesting/quirky/oddball, but the plot is as thin and weak as wet tissue paper.

Not up to Winslow’s usual standards.

I love D. Winslow’s books. Therefore I expected much more. The story is predictable and characters as well. You still feel a mastery of Mr. Winslow writing, however, it is not enough to be pleasurable experience as with other author’s books. The narrator is excellent

This’s the weakest novel written by Don Winslow.

This narrator is one of my top 3. Sadly the book is a shallow blend of the usual, blood,guns,racism overly wise cracked dialogue, but it is fast paced read....and free from audible.
