À propos de cet audio

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed,

for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go." (Joshua 1:9)

Each day, you watch America turn further from Christian values and the core principles of liberty. It's frustrating to feel you can't assert biblical truth without facing condemnation, and fearful to witness outrage and victimhood replace respect and reason. Amid this dissent, how can you not only stay rooted in your own faith, but continue publicly testifying for Jesus?

In We Will Not Be Silenced, Dr. Erwin W. Lutzer prepares you to live out your convictions against a growing tide of hostility. Gain a better understanding of nonbelievers' legitimate hurts and concerns regarding issues like racism, sexism, and poverty - and identify the toxic responses secular culture disguises as solutions. In the process, you'll see how you can show compassion and gentleness to those outside of the faith without affirming their beliefs.

We Will Not Be Silenced will ready you to move beyond fear and boldly accept the challenge of representing Christ to a watching world that needs him now more than ever before.

What a timely book that deals with current world events and explains the long term implications and dangers. I listened to it twice back to back.
Excellent content, easy to understand and the best narration.

A must read for all!

The author readily hits all of the fox-news culture war talking points, but lacks the depth of argument that would come had they spoken to any of the people they are rallying against. While there are valuable concerns and fears about the state of modern society brought up by the author, they so frequently miss the point when they resort to sensationalism and fear mongering. The sort of arguments the author uses come from someone who reads the Bible with an understanding that it was written for a modern audience, rather than attempting to understand it for culture and context which it was originally written. Their views come from a place of fear, rather than a Christ-like position of love. This book is good for two types of people… those who wish to understand the fearful rhetoric fuelling much of the evangelical world, and for privileged people looking to justify feeling as though they are being persecuted.

A right wing manifesto.
