I was starting to lose interest when the storyline really picked up and it was go, go, go from there. Very happy with the middle and end, so yes, I'd recommend it. Maybe a little more editing in the beginning to get to the story a bit sooner. Excellent performance. Love this narrator!

Lisa Scottoline is an amazing writer and I enjoy her novels immensely. I found it a little bit difficult to immerse myself in this story at the beginning since I didn't really like the characters. By part two, I was enjoying the book a lot more and was eagerly listening. Not my favourite Scottoline book, but still a very good listen.

I really enjoyed this book. But it started as a family drama, about the aftermath of losing a child and starting over in the Witness Protection Program - and then suddenly changed to an action adventure. It wasn't a bad thing, but it seemed abrupt, and I was kind of sad to divert from the original story! I still recommend it, though.
