This is definitely a heavier book and talks with postpartum depression, so definitely check your triggers. Reading Beth’s struggles after she had her baby and becoming a single mom was so hard to read and I just wanted to give her a big hug. Shane was beside her through it all and was the comforting light she needed. He was a helping hand when she needed, but never overstepped. His love and compassion for Beth and Kat was truly beautiful to read and made me fall so deeply in love with these characters and this story.
This is hands down one of my favorite Maggie Gates books. This is your sign to RUN and read this book!!
