This book is exactly what we need to hear today. I love anything Dr. Baxter writes, especially his "Introduction to Christian Mysticism" and "A Beginners Guide to Dante's Divine Comedy". This wonderful book though is one I can recommend widely to those not specifically interested in mysticism or Dante. It shines Truth on our current culture in a way that impacts the reader but also uplifts the reader and strengthens them to live fully as we are meant to live in this world at this time. I will reread it many times. Also it is read by the author who is a wonderful reader so it is just doubly delightful.
